Pour l'instant peu d'info concernant ce nouvel album que David avait promis pour fin 2007 mais qui semble plutôt devoir sortir qu'en 2008 ! La rumeur veut que Glenn Hughes serait convié à une participation.. on l'espère plus important que sur le très controversé Slip of the Tongue !!!

ça se précise : l'album est attendu pour novembre/décembre... il sonnera heavy et Rob Beach ne prend apparemment que deux solosalors que doug Aldrich sembel s'imposer comme lead guitar dans le groupe.. à noter que les titres inédits du live album ne seront pas sur celui ci ! (plutôt une bonne nouvelle)
Tommy Aldridge a bien enregistré les parties de batterie mais quid de sa participation à la suite etant donné son implication dans Thin Lizzy..

je respecte beaucoup le line up du groupe mais il joue beaucoup trop heavy et non pas blues comme la brailler un peu trop David!

je sais bien Sykes !! je suis de ton avis et les premieres rumeurs sur cet album ne me rassurent pas trop !!

bon, moi j'avais bien aimer les 4 studios de 2006 et si le reste de l'album est comme ça c'est OK pour moi!
Mais je serais déçu car Cov' nous disait qu'il revenait au blues du début....
mais Businees is business alors....

David Coverdale a entamé le mixage final de l'album mais à priori peu de chances de le voir sortir avant 2008...

un nouveau message de David qui précise un peu plus les choses !!

It is true that tour dates for 2008 are currently being put in place. We will likely start in New Zealand (Rock2Wgtn festival in Wellington) for a one-off in March. We are exploring the possibility of nipping over to Australia for a pint and a show, or two…but, at this time there is nothing positive to offer you. It looks very likely we will be having the distinct pleasure of returning to South and Central America in May, before starting our European run.

We have some absolutely splendid stuff planned… I can promise.

The U.S. still manages to elude us, for whatever reason, but, as always, we don’t take no for an answer… so, we are still working toward something in my adopted homeland later in the year. In fact, we will try to go anywhere and everywhere we can to present our music to those who want to be bitten by the snake.

The album is done and has been delivered to the record company as their Christmas present. We’re very happy with it, as I have reported to you throughout the year of creating it. I feel it has all the elements Whitesnake can offer, and hopefully a little more.

J'ai quand même hâte d'entendre ce que cet album à dans le ventre.
Bon je dois bien être le seul, mais vu le style Aldrich à mon avis on sera plus près de Coverdale/Page que de 1987 ou Slip of the tongue.
Enfin j'espère.
